Intake Session/Consultation (60-75 minutes): $150
Follow-Up Sessions (45-55 minutes): $115
*Free 15-minute phone consultation is offered to new clients.
*Phone consultations and teletherapy are billed at the hourly rate. You will be charged a prorated fee calculated after the first 15 minutes.
*Letters of support (e.g., on behalf of a child to a school) are a separate $50.00 fee.
I am a participating provider with Cigna, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Johns Hopkins EHP (Employer Health Programs), and Johns Hopkins USFHP (US Family Health Plan). Prior to scheduling an appointment, I will need to verify your insurance plan benefits. Please understand that while I am contracted as an in-network provider with these insurance companies, each insurance plan is different. Your benefits are contracted between you and your insurance company, and I do not have control over the benefits, deductibles, coverage, or fees associated with your specific plan. Your initial appointment will be confirmed after verification of the insurance benefits.
*For all other insurance companies/plans, I am considered an out-of-network provider. You may request reimbursement through your insurance plan for out-of-network expenses; however, services may only be covered in full or in part by your particular plan. Please check your coverage carefully. I am happy to assist you in seeking reimbursement for out-of-network expenses.
Reduced Fee- Sliding Scale
Reduced fee services are available on a limited case-by-case basis and are not available to clients utilizing insurance benefits.
Cash, check, and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, FSA/HSA) are accepted for payment. All payments are due on the date of service, including copays, deductibles, and coinsurance. Payments by credit card/FSA/HSA are processed via swipe, chip, or manual entry. Receipts are provided to self-pay clients for proof of payment. Receipts are also provided to clients who are requesting reimbursement for out-of-network or out-of-pocket expenses from their insurance plan and need to submit proof of payment documentation.
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, or you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. Your missed appointment fee will be charged to the credit card on file via manual entry or swipe/chip if you already have another appointment scheduled with me. Cash or check will also be accepted for missed appointment fees if agreed upon during the intake session.
